  • A study of actual condition of ownership and intention of utilizing the land in Local City:Case Study of Central District in Fukui City

    This paper aims to clarify the actual condition of ownership of large landowners and their intention of utilizing the land. The conclusion are as follows: 1)The large landowners has many unused lands but has a strong intention to continue owing them, therefore they greatly influence the land use at this area. 2) The blocks occupied by many vacant land owner by some large landowners, it is relatively easy to agree with the integral development of them. 3) The large landowners think a heavy burden to own many lands. And 70%of them say they can cooperate an exchange and a rent of lands to gather them.
  • A Study on Urban Structure Focusing on the Role and Designation Policy of Centers:Case Study of Medium-sized Cities Developing the City Planning Master Plan

    This paper aims to clarify the institution and designation policy of centres in city planning master plan, and to acquire the fundamental knowledge for the preferable urban structure. The results are as follows. Not only land use district, centers are located in citywide, including outside of city planning areas. Branch office and station have been chosen many centers, and therefore the traffic and administrative function have a significant impact on the concept of urban structure as the designated policy of centers. But hierarchy of the catchment area is not set in most cities, and catchment area is not designated as walkable neighborhood area.
  • Study on the Actual Condition of Residents Relocation and Housing Form Focused on Urban Compactification of small town

    This paper aims to clarify the residents relocation and housing focused on small town to depopulation, and to acquire the knowledge for the place of relocation desirable and placement of the house for the future. (1) In 5 years, there are 4379 relocation according to the Basic Resident Register of Echizen-cho. (2) There are 150 Moving out to the place of the housing development in the suburbs outside of Echizen-cho. (3) In Port town, there are many relocation of short-range of the elderly. (4) In Use district of the suburban part, population has increased at quasi-industrial district and industrial district, by young singles to relocation to the private rental house of this place.
  • Study on reconstruction of living space by the small housing estate at the central district in Local City

    This paper aims to clarify the reconstruction of living space by the small housing estate in Kanazawa city as a case study. The conclusion are as follows: 1) 15 housing estate are constructed and they are categorized "walk through", "dead end", "road widening" 2) Most of houses have large site and large total floor area. 3) By survey about land ownership, inheritance and integration of the Land are few. 4) In the four cases, even if parking lots were adjacent, concentration was not done.
